BLACKPINK’s Jennie Is Convincing Us to Try Body Shimmer This Summer

Are body shimmers on your to-buy list for summer 2024? If they are not, this look from BLACKPINK member Jennie might convince you otherwise.

On July 3, 2024, Jennie made her way to the CHANEL Coco Crush pop-up in Seoul, South Korea, and made sure to look the part in a see-through crochet LBD from the French maison. Jennie paired her LBD with sheer iridescent tights featuring Chanel’s iconic interlocking Cs and classic black pumps embellished with shining crystals.

On the accessory front, Jennie kept it stacked, opting for a little quilted bag, gold and white gold bangles and rings, and a watch-headphones contraption featuring the brand’s classic leather and hardware straps. She also wore rings matching the jewelry of her hands in her hair to adorn her braided style.

While the BLACKPINK member’s outfit was dazzling in its own right, it was her body glitter that glowed the brightest. Over on her Instagram stories, Jennie shared a closeup of her arm, tagging makeup artist @joynara to show off the reflective glittery goodness for everyone to see.

While Jennie’s glow wasn’t really visible in pics from the event, it’s hard to miss it in the video. The makeup artist, who’s also worked with Jennie for her Chanel fall-winter 2024 show look as well as her Beats Solo Buds ad, among many other projects, did not share which products she used to achieve the shine, but we have a feeling it could be the LES BEIGES Sheer Healthy Glow Highlighting Fluid.

While the LES BEIGES Sheer Healthy Glow Highlighting Fluid is meant to be a face highlighter, it could certainly work as a body shimmer, especially given that Jennie’s legs were covered.
